George “Curious George” Basch is the founder of the Himalayan Stove Project and an entrepreneurial businessman. Have you ever wanted to get away for a bit? Travel the world and seek new adventures? George Basch is a member of the Explorers Club and has been to Mount Everest, Nepal, and many other exotic locations. Mr. Basch knows firsthand how traveling can change someone’s perspective and lifestyle. After traveling (and in memory of his son Paul), he was inspired to create the Himalayan Stove Project, which is dedicated to improving the health of the people living in the trans-Himalayan region. Furthermore, Mr. Basch shows how beneficial exploring our breathtaking planet can be.
