Football, relentlessness, and podcasting

Mr. Tyler Kluver is a former, Hawkeye long snapper and the host of the Washed Up Walkons podcast. Back in high school, Mr. Kluver realized that the only way he could make it onto a college football team was by becoming a long snapper. So, he spent hours snapping footballs in his front yard. Finally, after tons of hard work and his graduation, his goal was reached. After walking on to the Hawkeyes, he became the starting long snapper. His story of inspiration doesn't stop there. More recently, during the pandemic, Mr. Kluver was laid off. However, he leveraged the fan support he had earned from becoming a college football player and started his own fitness business, which has turned out to be pretty successful.Along with his story, Mr. Kluver provides us with some "tricks of the trade" for becoming a college football player and dealing with depression after transitioning from the hyped, college football life to a slower-paced, "real" life.Washed Up Walkons: thewashedupwalkons.com
