Prof. John M. Barry is the prize-winning and New York Times best-selling author of The Great Influenza along with others. From a young age, Prof. Barry knew that he loved to write books. He was also fascinated with medical research. However, since he knew he never wanted to become a doctor, he instead decided to combine his two passions. This has led to a fascinating book called The Great Influenza , which is about the 1918 Spanish Flu pandemic. It turned out to be a huge hit! Following his passion led Prof. John M. Barry to not only do what he loves but also entertain and inform others of important moments in history through his writing!
